Cancellation of this year's Reunion Celebration

Dear Alumnae and Alumni,

As you know, today was the deadline to RSVP for Reunion events. We have not received enough RSVPs, by today’s deadline, to fulfill the minimum required by our caterer to hold these events, or enough alums present to have the kind of event you deserve. Many of you have made other plans, or simply were not able to make a visit to Doane Stuart. With regret, the tours of our new school and the Reception on Friday, June 17 at the Fort Orange Club have been canceled.

However, we have been thrilled to see so many of you at our many campus events this year. Several of you have visited Doane Stuart individually and continued your real support. We thank you for joining us at these events, and others, and for helping to make them even more special by your presence.

We are beginning to plan for next year’s Reunion celebration. If you have ideas, please share them. And, we welcome you to join our pages on Facebook and Twitter, to contact us directly with questions or news updates, or, if you are in the area, to stop by. It will be our pleasure to welcome you to your beautiful campus home.
