8th Annual College Sweatshirt Day at Doane Stuart

On January 27, the Doane Stuart Community celebrated the School’s 8th annual College Sweatshirt Day! (Pictured right: Over 300 Students, Faculty and Staff gathered in the Interfaith Chapel, each donning a college sweatshirts of her or his choice, to recognize the implications and significance, not only of choosing to attend college, but of choosing the “right” college.)

In many ways, the college counseling process at Doane Stuart is an extension of a student’s overall experience. Students are encouraged to embark on a process of self-reflection, to gather information and then make informed decisions through extensive discovery and analysis. Our goal is to give students (and their families) the guidance that they need to help them to make the most informed choices at each step in the process.

The 31 members of the class of 2012 have already gained acceptance to many of the Nation’s most prestigious colleges, receiving more than $1.5 Million in Merit-Based college scholarships, to date, for this coming year!
