Every year, hundreds of Doane Stuart alumni and friends make important contributions that provide support and create exciting opportunities for students and faculty. Since tuition revenue covers only 88% of the cost of a Doane Stuart education, unrestricted gifts to the Annual Fund are critical. Doane Stuart donors have chosen to invest themselves in the School and through their extraordinary generosity.
Annual Fund
Doane Stuart's Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our School's development program. It is a year-round fundraising effort that collects unrestricted dollars from alumni, parents, students, trustees, and friends of the School. Gifts to the Annual Fund make up an essential component of the school's annual operating budget, which allows us to address special needs throughout the year. Every gift, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and truly effective.

Double your dollars
Many companies match contributions to independent schools from their employees or employees' spouses. Help Doane Stuart receive double or even triple the amount of your gift. Contact your personnel office for a matching gift form. Your employer will be acknowledged and the total amount of your gift will be recognized.
Leave a Legacy
Planned giving allows supporters of Doane Stuart to donate via a trust, annuity, insurance policy, or most commonly, a bequest. Planned giving is similar to retirement accounts- money to secure the future of our school. Ideal planned giving donors are those who believe in giving back for the benefit of future generations, who want to leave something as a link to posterity, or can make a larger gift through their wills.
3 Ways to Leave your Legacy
1. Leave a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the assests from your estate to Doane Stuart School.
2. Consider using personal assests for a charitable gift, which might include stock, bonds, mutal funds, term deposits, real estate, or works of art.
3. Remember loved ones with a memorial gift or bequest, and encourage family and friends to leave gifts to Doane Stuart.
