We love Fall at Doane Stuart. Not only is the view from the Green Roof amazing (the best place in the Capital District to see the leaves change), but our yearly traditions are so fun from September until December. We have the Back to School Picnic, we have Corn Roast, we have soccer games, and Blue v Green games, we have Kris Kringle celebrations, Veterans Day Celebrations, and we have Harvest Fest! Harvest Fest is the best because we all get to compete for “Best in Scooping”! Our lower school classes compete in a race to scoop out a pumpkin the fastest. We celebrated this past Friday and we are excited to announce that our 1st/2nd Grade class were the champions. With speed, teamwork, and silliness, they managed to out scoop all the other grades! Congratulations!
Happy Harvest Fest!
We also had our Halloween parade in our community showing off our morning made masks to our neighbors, and we were treated to delicious snacks back at school! Check out the photos from our day full of fun!
