Claudia Aibel ’19 has received a Letter of Commendation for her performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQ.)
Aibel, of Saratoga Springs, daughter of Sharon and Keith Aibel, is one of only about 30,000 students nationwide of the 1.6 million students that take the PSAT to be National Merit Commended.
Aibel entered Doane Stuart in Grade 7. At school, in addition to academics, she is Vice-President of the Key Club, a member of the Environmental Club, and a Peer Tutor who helps students with the writing and drafting of essays. After attending a middle school with 500 students, Aibel said she appreciates Doane Stuart’s small classes and also credited the school’s SAT prep course with being beneficial to her performance on the PSAT.
