The Upper School Drama Club and the Theatre Performance Class presented their student directed spring play, “Almost, Maine” in The Commons on Thursday and Friday.
“Almost, Maine” is a collection of love stories revolving around a cast of characters in a small town called Almost in Northern Maine. It’s not quite a town just unorganized territory but it’s “Almost” a town, just like these stories are “almost” about love. Some stories involve falling in love, some falling out of love; but each story has a comedic aspect to it.
Student directors, Liz Cole ’19 and Emilie Austin ’19, and cast crafted a bittersweet, beautiful, and even tearful work; but also humorous at the same time.
