The Kindergarten and First Grade classes once again joined together with their parents and special friends for the much anticipated Olympic Games. The crowd of parents, friends and lower school students cheered as the students entered the Olympic Stadium (Doane Stuart’s gymnasium) for the opening ceremony to the well known “Olympic Fanfare and Theme.” They carried their very own Olympic “flame” in a parade around the gym and lit the official torch.
Each year parents join in the fun and participate alongside their children in a number of events and receive gold medals and prizes.
