Doane Stuart Alumna and Co-Chair of the Doane Stuart Alumni/ae Association, Leanne Robinson-Maine, DS class of 1994, was recently honored with an Emmy award for her work as Writer on the TV show Brewed in New York. The 13-episode series, which celebrates the craft beer revolution taking place across New York State, received state-wide PBS broadcast in 2018 and was nominated for 6 regional broadcast Emmys by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Leanne was Writer / Producer on Brewed in New York, and collaborated with her husband, Justin, who Executive Produced the show. Justin also took home an Emmy for Cinematography on the series.
