Lower School students at Doane Stuart celebrated Read Across America Day on Thursday, March 2.
Read Across America Day is a national celebration of reading, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ Birthday. The lower school commemorated this special occasion with reading Dr. Seuss classics and a number of fun and creative classroom activities – all while dressed as their favorite storybook characters. Students in Early Childhood and Kindergarten even enjoyed a delicious breakfast of green eggs and ham!
