Saturday, February 2 represented a special evening for The Doane Stuart School as members of its community were honored at the 17th Annual Gala for Autism, a benefit for The Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region.
Robert O’Hare ’04, a BCBA Clinical Supervisor with Autism Learning Partners, received the Society’s Advocate of the Year. O’Hare supervises skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In addition, Drs. Natalie Hsu and Teddy Pan, parents of Michael Pan ’22, were named the event’s Honorary Gala Chairs.
The Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region serves twelve counties and provides advocacy, public awareness, education, and support to serve as a voice and resource for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families.
