John Robinson

John Robinson, parent of Ariel ’15 was honored by the White House on October 14 as a “Champion of Change.”  John was recognized in the “Disability Employment Champions Of Change” category for having done “extraordinary work to make workplaces more accessible and to create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.”  The program featured U.S. Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez, Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council Cecelia Muñoz, Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Jenny Yang, and other Senior Administration Officials.

A description of the Champions program from www.whitehouse.gov: “All across the country, ordinary Americans are doing extraordinary things in their communities to out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world. Every week, we will invite these Champions of Change to the White House to share their ideas to win the future.”
