Did you know that every Thursday we have have our Reading Buddies meet! Our 4th graders meet with our Early Childhood class and share in learning. It’s a great way for the 4th graders to continue learning how to be leaders of the lower school and it’s great for our littlest ones to have someone “big” to look up to and learn from. Sometimes they come in during the week to help us with projects, like this week, for example! We completed a STEAM activity together. Usually we read with our buddies, but sometimes we complete investigations too, like this week when we explored pumpkins and gourds for the upcoming holiday. Also, there are times when our Reading Buddies read to the littles from the library! The students can all jump on their tablets and share the experience electronically, showing our littles all the ways the world can communicate!
